Own Correspondent. Tuesday. Tie United Friendly Societies' Card tournament progressed a further stage latt evening, when the Druids secured a victory over the Oddfellows by 29 games to 27. The latter meet the Fore3ters' to morrow

evening. At a meeting 1 of Totara Lodge, U.A.O. D., last evening, £1 was voted to a fund for a distressed brother of the Matai Lodge, Nelson. Bros J. M. Nicholls and W. Erickson were elected delegates to the Friendly Societies' Council for the ensuing year. One new member was initiated.
