A STORMY PASSAGE.
SHIP SHORT OF PROVISIONS. Received August 3, 8.35 p.m. SYDNEY, August 3. The ship Perotas, which was bound for Sydney, put into Newcastle, short of provisions, after a stormy passage of forty days. She was off Newcastle a week ago, but contrary winds drove her north.
