STOCK MARKET. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly stock sale in their Pahiatua yards, when they offered a fair entry of both sheep and cattle, which &old well up to market rates. They quote:—On account of Mr J. E. Hewitt, we sold 90 f.rn. ewes in lamb at 16s 2d, 2 tootn ewes in lamb to 18s 6d, mixed aged ewes in iamb from 8s to lis 6d; 2 year steers £3 9a to £3 10s, 18 months steers £2 7s to £2 10s, fat cows to £6, cows in calf £4 to £4 ss, empty cows to £3 Their sale next week will be in the P.P.A. yards.
