Mr C. J. Kent-Johnston has resign|pd the secretaryship of St. John's I Church, Featuerston. I Mr T. Hayman has resigned his position as representative at Greytown for Daleety and Co., Ltd. Mr E. Martin, who ha.< resided for fourteen years a t Carterton, has left for Kaitawa, in the FortyfMHe ' Bush district, where he will go in for farming. Mr H. Walden, of the staff of t! e Greytown Post Office, has been trara- \ ferred to Kimbolton. Before leaving I the staff presented him with a hand- | some travelling bag. ! Mrs Thomas Brigbtwell, of Woodville, a highly respected Eettlar, was I conveyed to the Pahiatua Hospital on 1 Sunday, where she lies in a critical condition. Mr H. Peters, of Waihakeke, who has been occupied there for some I considerable time in farming operations, has decided to take up his residence in Wellington. Mr Peters' farm will be carried on by bis sons. ' Mr A. J. Subsequently he went to Australia, and then to London. I The death occurred yesterday of a a very popular resident of Masterton, e in the person of Mrs Emmett, wife of e Mr J. B. Emmett, of Masterton.
