Received July 25, 1.10 p.m. TOKIO, July 24. Reuter's aeent at Tokio states that the steamer Tetseuri Maru, with 240 passengers, while travelling from Kobe to Dalny, sank.
Forty persons were saved; the rest are missing.
Warships are searching,
(The Tetseuri Maru was a steel screw steamer of 2142 tons gross).
