BERLIN, July 24. * Enormous damage was done by a hurricane, accompanied by lightning and torrents of rain, in West and Suuth Germany, especially at Nuremberg, Cologne, Es'seri, and . Bonn.

STORM IN ITALY.

LONDON, July 24. A devastating storm visited Milan and district.

A brick factory at Solario. in the commune of Coriano-Laghettu. coliapped. Fourteen persons were killed and twenty injured. Several chimneys at -Busto-Arsizio fell, ten persons being killed.

There were fifteen victims of the storm at Mosciano, and three at Saronno. Fatalities also occurred in the Gallarata district.

The prefect, tioops, and firemen hav° proceeded to the chief centres of tho disaster.

Details are lacking, the telegraph wires being down.

FEARFUL CYCLONE.

FIFTY KILLED; HUNDREDS INJURED. Received July 25, 11.0 p.m. KOME, July 25. A cyclone in the Saronno region killed fifty persons and injured nun dreds. Jt also damaged the Humbert Memorial Chapel at Monza. Many factory chimneys fell.

HARVEST SPOILED,

Received Jaiy 25, 11.20 p.m, BERLIN, July 25:

The storms sipoilt the harvest in many places and devastated the Park at Wolfs Brum. The Castle ■■•£ Brunswick had the roof destroyed.
