MAORIS v. WELLINGTON. A DRAWN GAME. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 20. The Maori Rugby, team to-day played a drawn game with the Wei' lington rep. fifteen. The game was a magnificent one, the Maoris proving themselves a truly great side, They had exceedingly hard luck in not winning: the match, as on two occasions the merest accident robbed them of a score, As it wqs they scored a goal ana a try to Wellington's goal and penally. The score at half lime was three to nil in favour of Wellington, Kmvig landing a penalty goal. In the second half the Maoris attacked stronely, Hall and Moana Paratene scoring tries, one of which Cunningham converted Wellington retaliated with a try by Dawson, converted by Kinvig, making the final scores eight all.
