Own Correspondent. Thursday. Mr W. Fisher is representing the Taratahi and Belvedere Dairy Companies at the conference uf the North Island Dairy Association at Hawera. Mr R. 0. Jarrett, of Masterton, has been appointed judge of the utility class at the South Wairarapa Poultry Association's annual show to be held here on Wednesday and Thursday next. Kis stud sheep were in tha adjoining paddock, but fortunately the wandering canines did not find their way there. Mr Booth has decided to safeguard his flock by laying poieon for dogs on his Carxringlon property. Mr J. Gayfer hag presented a gold medal to tha Dalefield Fooball Club to be awarded to the best player. Mr William Henry Turley, of Carterton, labourer, was yesterday ad* judged bankrupt. The first meeting of creditors will be held here on Tuesday next. The South Wairarapa Poultry Association has decided to hold a smoke concert on Wednesday evening next.
