PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.
Messrs"Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale at Pahiarua in the P.F.A. yards, when they offered a Bmall entry of sheep and a good entry of cattle. Owing, no doubt, to the very wet day experienced bidding for sheep was not keen, and the two pens offered were passed in. Cattle sold well at late rates. Quotations—A line (,-f 20 4-yr bullocks fold at £5 10 = ; springing heifers £5, £5 5s to' £5 10s; ppringitie cown, £4 Is, £4 7s 6d to £4 10s; store cows, £2 19s to £3 15s: speyerl heiters, to £4 9<i; old cows in culf, dull of sale, fetched £3 (o £3 10s; wearer heifers, £2 to £2 6s. The next sale will be held on Tuesday, the 19th inst. in ihe Mangahao road yards.
