WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 13. The Rev. D. C. Bates' sommary and forecast are—Gloomy skies and misty ana showery weather has prevailed in most parts of the country. Rain has been heavy on the East Coast of both islandi, with rivers flooded. Moderate to strong easterly winds have prevailed. Present indications pre for a further fall in the barometer pressure everywhere,with cloudy and unsettled wea'her. generally. Rain is probable in most part* and floods in the mers draining mountainous district* from the melting nf snow. Strong northerly and easterly winds will probably prevail.
Mr J. C. Boddingtcn reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours preceding 9 a.m. on Wednesday wai 1,88 points.
