AT PALMERSTON NORTB. By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N., July 12. The Wairarapa golfers visited Palmerston North. The day was wet. "A inixed ' foursome in the morning ended in four gamea each. In the afteroon in the singles the Wairarapa ladies won five games to two, and the Wairarapa men also won'five to two. Carne Bidwill defeated the local champion Barraud, doing the round of 79, but W. Bidwiil was defeated by Allan Strang, the local captain.
