Own Correspondent. July 11th.., «- ' A long night social in connection with the weekly assembly will take place on Thursday night next. Farmers here are losing a large' number nf hoggets this winter, owing to a kind of stomach worm past. The sheep have a cougn similar to that which accompanies lung worm, which in a few days reduces the animal very much. A drench of Little's Dip is being tried, 1 in 24 and 3 lablespoons-ful for a dose. We have not been without our share of wet and cold weather, which ha? brought with it muddy roads and ■ sloppy farm yard?, and above all a good deal of sickness by way of colds croup and whooping cough.
