COMMERCIAL.
STOCK MARKET. . Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having held a roost successful sale on account of Mr J. McGregor, at Hastwell on Monday, the herd averaging ±'B per head, springing heifers £4 10s to £5 15s; weaner heifers, 35s 6r3. The cows sold from £6 to £ll 2s fid; spring cart horse, £1310s; sows in pig, £2 2s 6d. Sundries sold up to full market rates.
STOCK REPORT. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at their Taratahi yards yesterday, when they report having had a yarding well above expectations. Our yarding was composed chiefly of ewes in lamb, of which we effected a total clearance. Wc quote:—F.m, ewes, 8s Gd, lUs 6d, 123; s.rn. ewes up to 14s 6d; fat and forward ewes, 13s; backward conditioned evses, 7s. At our next Taratahi sale, to be held at these yards on 25th July, we will be offering a line of fizst-class dairy cows on account of Mr Oliver Bubb, particulars *of which are advertised on page 8. Mr Bubb has de-! cided to give up dairying, and the sale is therefore a genuine one.
