FARMERS' UNION.
NINTH AJNNUAL CONFERENCE. OPENS TO-DAY. The ninth annual Dominion Conference of New Zealand Farmers' Union opens in Wellington this morning, in the headquarters, in'the National Mutual Buildings. Mr J. G. Wilson, Bulls,: the Dominion president, will occupy the chair. Among those who are expsctedto be presant are—-Messrs G. W. Leadley, Wakanui, vice-president; J. C. Vjooper, Masterton; J. Birch, Marton; D. McGreogr, junr., Masterton; H. J. Richards, Levin; A. E, Russell, Palmerston North, treasurer; E. C. Jack, Wellington, secretaiy; also the following provincial presidents—Auckland—Major Lusk, Te Kuiti; Taranaki—J. W. Jones, Kakaramea; Hawkes Bay—Eustace Lane, Pakehou; Wellington—J. G. Wilson, Bulls; Nelson —Ivo Tunnicliffe, Wal-iti; Marlborough—D'Arcy, Chaytor, Spring Greek; North Canterbury—O. F. Clothier, Hawarden; South Canterbury—J. Talbot, I'imaru; Otago—G.
