WEATHER FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. . WELLINGTON. July 5. The Rev. D. C. Bates' nummary and forecast are —The barometer has risen steadily in the north and falling in the south, with freshening westerlies in the north and northerly winds. In the south the weather has been unsettled, and hazy with rain in parts. Present indications are for a westerly gale in most parts of the country and rough weather on the West Coast and in Cook and Foveaux Straits, especially. Rain is probable generally from a storm area which is likely to envelope the whole country shortly. Heavy seas are also to be expacted on the West Coait.
