Own Correspondent. Tuesday. Mr Ron" Kingi, a well-known Wairarapa native, has purchased through the motor agency of Mr A. S. Judd a handsome motor car. It is a S.C.A.T- car, and will accommodate five. Thepower is 15-18 h.p,, with dual ignition. The body is of green tinge, picked out with black, and it is upholstered in greer, the whole being a splendid specimen of the continental manufacture. The many friends of Mrs P. J. Armstrong will be pleased to hear diat she is making a good recovery from her recent ilness. Mr C A. Opie, County Engineer, left for the Coai.c to-day, to inspect Ins damage done by the recent heavy the East Coast road between Jackson's Creek and the Coast. The rains did not affect any of the bridges in the county I Councillor J. A. Dudson isrepre-, senting the local Borough Council at the Municipal Conference in Wellington. MSA special meeting of the Borough i council wi:l take place to-morrow evening. The second match in the United Friendly Societies' card tournament will take place to-morrow ' evening, when the Oddfellows and Foresters meet.
