The Financial Times, "discussing the criticism of some shareholders that the Australian banks ought to increase their dividends, says.— "Critics fail to appreciate the advantages of the Directors' continuous policy, particularly in the crisis of 1908, when the Australian barks were greatly increased in prestige."
