A SETTLER'S DEATH.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WHANGAREI, June 28. The body of a young married settler named James Anderson was found this morning in a paddock at Maungakaramea. Death was evidently due to a gunshot wound, but whether it was accidental or intentional is not yet known. The police are investigating. Anderson seme time ago was a patient at the Avondale Asylum.
