Own Coriespondent. Wednesday. Mr J. Brown, who ban b=en first assistant at the Belvedere Cheese Factory, has been appointed manager to the new Carriiiuton Factory. At the local skating rink on Monday evening two unfortunate accidents occurred. Miss Callender had the misfortune to ftacturj her Isg jijst above the ankle, and M'ss Nielsen sustained a severely eprained ankie Roth young ladies were assisting each other, when they fell. Dr. Johnston attended the suferers, who I were removed to their homes in Mr J G. Hughan's motor car. IThe Fire Brigade acknowledge with thanks the receipt of a donation of books and magazines from Mr H. H. Wolters.
