Ltd., re- 1 port on their sale in the Pahiatua yards to-day as followsA small yarding of sheep and cattle was submitted to a good attendanca of farmera and buyers. Cattle sold well, and sheep sold freely, slightly in advance of late rates. Quotations.—Hoggets, 8s fid to 9s 6d; ewes in lamb, 7a 9d to 10s; empty tnvesto 10a Id; wean ers, 235; ten-month steers, 525; forward empty co*p, 23a to 51s; dairy cowe, 70s to 82a. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Pah atua on 21st inst. we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. She?p met strong competition, with an improvement in values, Cattle also sold well, especially dairy stock. Quo'ationa: Wethers, 13s sd; s.m. ewes in lamb, 8s 6d to £s Id; ag3d ewes 3s 4d tJ ss;, empty fs 6d; good lambs, 8a 9d to 10s 6d. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having hcM their usual weekly sale in Pahiatua (his week in the Mangahao Road yards. Stock, both cattle and sheep, did not come forward as advertised, but for all that the entries lrom>ht forward were sold under the hammer. Quotations are as follow;-Ewes, empty 7s 2d to 8s 8d; 1 empty heifers up to £3, Their nex*; sale will be h'ld in th»3 Pahintua Farmers' yards on Tuesday next, June 28th. Messrs Abraham and Wjlliams, Ltd , report a follow: —At Woodville on the 20th inst., there was a small yarding of sheep, ',but a good one of cattle. There was a good sale, dairy sorts being especially sought after.
