Several Ngaturi residents are •carrying out extensive drainage •operations this winter. The Kaitawa Rifle Club has held a very successful season, and members , now have several trophies promised, »including a gold-mounted watch--guard from Mr Morrison, manager ■of the cheese factory. Mr Frank White has also made a donation of .£3 to,the Club's funds. At the National Dairy Show, today, the Ballanca Dairy Company were awarded second prize in the >best box of ex-part butter class.
