Prosser (re-elected): dark of •course, Mr Ranby; stewards. Messrs ~"-J7 Sweeney, J. i4eCardle, W. Eceleton, C. Vincent, S, V. Rodney, E. Darley, L. Johansen, T. Mexted, Murray. Mr A. Weston was re-elected secretary at a remuneration of £lO for the meeting, and Mr Hawley Drew was appointed assistant secretary. Several Ngaturi residents are •carrying out extensive drainage •operations this winter. The Kaitawa Rifle Club has held a very successful season, and members , now have several trophies promised, »including a gold-mounted watch--guard from Mr Morrison, manager ■of the cheese factory. Mr Frank White has also made a donation of .£3 to,the Club's funds. At the National Dairy Show, today, the Ballanca Dairy Company were awarded second prize in the >best box of ex-part butter class.
