It is officially announced that Earl Beauchamp will succeed Lord Wolverhampton, resigned, as Lord President of the Council The Budget will be brought down during the last week of the present month. liar! Beauchamp, born in 1872, succeeded to the title in 1891. From 1899 to 1901 he was Governor of New South Wales, being only 27 years of age when he landed in Sydney. He is now 38.
