WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.

One of the most enjoyable events of the Wairarapa Hunt Club was held on Saturday, at Te Parae, the ran taking place over the properties of Messrs Guy and Erl Williams, the distance being about five miles of some very pretty country. The fences included some natural hedges and ditches, the water jump being specially good. (.The going was very slippery, which accounted for several spills, but none of a serious nature. Luncheon was provided at Te Parae, and afternoon tea at Mr Guy Williams' house. Those that followed thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The drag was laid by Mr C. F. Vallance on Dreamy Daniel; F. B. Vallance, Master, on Country Girl, owing to the absence of Mr Buick through illness; Huntsman Bunny on Greyt dawn; Tas. Smith, Whip, on Gre-. and Trouble; J. O'Brien, Whip, on Wildfire; Don Baird on Bata, C. J. Bennett on Gleam o* Dawn,"" Mrs, Williams on Variation, Miss Mace on Santa Claus, J. Floyd on Prospector, W. Garrett on chestnut mare; B. Westmorland on Turnover, W. D. Watson on Yeast, Jamieson on grey horse. D. Monro on Gunmetal, E.T. Williamson Satan; W. Wilson on Chestnuts, B. Reardon on Pawelka and Kimu.
