HOCKEY.
SATURDAY COMPETITION. The St. Matthew's hockey match n the Saturday competition was a /ery one-sided game, St. Matthew's winning by six goals to one. Hatch 5. and Dixon 1, scored for St. Matthew's, and Smith for Masterton. The Wellington Hockey Association has written to the Secretary of the Wairarapn Hockey Association stating that Jul/ 23rd bad been appointed as the day on which the Shield mptch with Wellington is to be played in Wellington.
