I ULIMARUA DAMAGED. MOUNTAINOUS SEAS. PASSENGERS SEEK LIFE BELTS. WATER LEAKS INTO CABINS. By Telegraph —Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Jane 7. The Ulimaroa experiened a cyclonic storm after leaving Hobart, mountainous seas making a clean breach of the steamer. The taffrail was broken clean through, the ladder washed away, and tbo iron stanchions bent like wire. The strain oa the ship allowed the water to leak into the cabins, and bailing out had to be resorted.tu. Some of the passengers sought she life Delts. For nearly two days the steamer made only four knots an hour. On Sunday tne weather calmed down, and was fine til! the vessel's arrival at one o'clock'this morning. jnEW faOUTH WALES COAST. Received June V, 10.10 a.m. SYDNEY, June 7. Heavy weather continues on the coast. Shipping is compelled to shelter.
