Goldau is a village five and a half miles from Schwytz, capital of the Canton of the. same name. It is situated at the south foot of the Roasberg mountain. The last landslip totally destroyed the former village of Goi--dau, as well as the villages of Bussigen, Rother, and part of Lowess.
