Sir Joseph Ward will leave Wellington on Monday for Auckland. The funeral of the late, Mrs E." Rayner took pi see at the Masterfara Cemetery yesterday afternoon. Tha cortege was a large one, relations and friends being presenj from all parts of the province. Many heauti- * ful wreaths and floral tributes testffying to the great esteem in which the deceased lady, was held, were laid upon the grave. The ceremony ( by Rev. H. Watson. The pall-hearers were the four sons of the deceased," Messrs C, L., Pj and A. Corbett.
