New Zealand Lamb and beef are in good demand with a firmer market, whilst it u'ton is poor demand with an unchanged market. To-day's quotations are as of flows: New Zealand prime ox beef, foes 4d, hinds s£d; crossbred lamb, Canterbury, heavy s|d, light, sd, North Island, heavy sd, light 5Jd; crossbred mutton, Canterbury, heavy 3§d, light 35d; North Island, heavy, 3id, light 3d. Tallow. ~\s compared with our wire of the lith May prices are 6d lower.

EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, repoit having held their usual fortnighly sale at Eketahuna on Friday, 27th inst.:—We had an average yarding of both sheep and cattle. Bidding was very Blow, but we quitted the bulk of cur yarding before the day closed. We quote: sheep: best lambs 7s; others 4s 6d to 6s Id; empty ewes 73 to 7s Id. Cattle: weaners 253 to 27s 6d, springing heifers £3 10s to £4 17s 6d; springing cows, £5 5s to £6 15s; empty cows, 25s to £2 7s 6d.
