PROFESSOR KOCH DEAD.

Received May 29, 5 p.m. BERLIN, May 29. Professor Dr Robert Koch has died of heart disease, while undergoing a rest cure at Baden Baden. (Dr Koch was born in 1843, at Hanover. He became celebrated through his discovery of the bacilli of tuberculosis in 1890, and his tuberculin for arresting the disease. Opinions differ among medical men as to the efficiency of the tuberculin treatment, which has failed in many cases.) .
