Y.M.C.A. BOARD MEETING.
Mr D. McGregor, jut)., presided over the first meeting of the newly--elected Board of Management at the Y.M.C.A. Rooms last night. Several matters were discussed, especially the renewed interest shown in the life of the Association by several people in the community. It was decided to disband tl.e boys' department Encouraging repor's of the Physical Culture Classes were received, and the subject of new equipment discussed. The offer of the young lades to take up the work of canvassing on behalf of the Y.M.C.A. was keenly appreciated, and the aciion of the ladies' auxiliary approved The details of the work will be arranged on Mon-
day night. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr H. Fannin for his gift of books to the Association, forming the nucleus of an Association Library. A branch ot the Alliance of Honour was formed, several members of the Board handing in their names as members.
