Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows: —A heavy yarding of prime sheep and cattle met with a good demand, and sold] readily. Best bullocks, £8 12s 6d to £8 17= 6d; lighter, £8 7s 6d to £8 10s; others, £8 2s 6d: equal to 23s per hundred; vealers, 38s;to 425; light, 30s; prime wethers, 16s Qi to 17s 4d; extra prime heavy, ewes, 18s; prime heavy ewes, 16s lid; good ewes. 13s 9d; medium to plain ewes, lis 6d to 12s 3d; plain 113; prime woolly lambs, 133 sd; prime shorn, 10s 9d to lis 8d; others, 9s to lus.
