Bissett, of Belmont, Konini, and had been ailing for some considerable time, On Wednesday last he underwent a serious operation, from the effects of which he never recovered. Deceased was well known in the district, being a prominent member of the Konini footbail team since he left school, also, he was a very talented black and white artist, sketches from his pencil frequently appearing 5' the Wellington Free Lance. The funeral will leave St. Peter's Church, Terrace End, for the Cemetery, Palmerston North, to-morrow (Tuesday), at 2 p.m. The sympathy of his many friends will be extended to his parents in their sad bereavement.
