WEATHEK FORECAST,

By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, May 6.

The Rev. D. C. Eates' summary and forecast are as follow:—The weather has generally changeable, showery in parts and overcast in the far North. A south-easterly gale and rain are reported this evening from Cape Brett. Present indications are fur stormy weather in the North, easterly winds, strong to gale, and much rain probable northward of the East Cape and Kawhia; south-easterly winds, moderate to strong, thence to Cape Farewell and Kaikoura, and northerly winds prevailing elsewhere. The weather will probably be showery, and misty on the East Coast, and changeable elsewhere.
