LONDON MARKETS. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cable messages from their London house under date of the 23th instant: —Frozen Meat:"The market for beef, which is in active demand, is firmer whilst the lamb market is firm it had better demand. Mutton is in limited demand, with a weak market. Quotations are as follows:—New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy to light, s§d; North Island heavy to light, 4§d; prime crossbred mutton, Canterbury heavy, 3§d, light 4Jd; North Island heavy 3d,-light 3|d; '.New Zealand prime ox beef, fores 3|d, hinds 4Jd. Tallow.—The market for spot parcels is unchanged. Wool.—Sales continue firm, and lately reported rates are fully maintained.
