SECOND MATE OF MANAPOURI CITED.

Received May 3, 11.30 p.m. SYDNEY, May 3.

The New South Wales Mance Court found that the ManapouilGratltude collision on March 23rd was caused by Murdoch Logmore, the second mate of the Manapouri, who had charge of the wheel at the Hue of the accident, not keeping a proper and sufficient look-out. Logmore was cited to show cause on Monday why his certificate of competency is the first mate of a foreign going ship should not be cancelled or suspended.
