OBSTINATE RESISTANCE

The Albanians have obstinately resisted the Turkish troops since
Friday evening. It is officially stated that the Katchnik defile, which was occupied by six hundred Albanians, has now been cleared. The railway is reported to be undamaged. Further considerable reinforcements have been despatched to overawe the Albanians and effect a definite settlement of the trouble.
