MASTERTON MORRIS TUBE CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of Lhe Masterton Morris Tube Club was held in the Motor Garage Hall, last'evening. There was a good attendance of members, and Dr. Cook presided. A satisfactory report was read by the secretary, and the balancesheet showed the receipts for the year to be £52 4s Bd, and vhe expenditure £43 13s ,-4d, leaving a credit balance of £8 lis 4d. The assets over the liabilities amounted to £l2 13s lOd.

The Chairman, in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, congratulated the Club on its financial position. He believed that if compulsory training came into force during the present year, the membership of the Club would increase considerably. At present the Club had a membership of 42.

The following officers were elected fur the ensuing year:—Patron : Mr Henry Holmes (re-eleded). President: Dr. Cook fre-eltcteri). VicePresidents: Messrs J. Coradine, D. Wiltoi, R. J. King, W. Hodges, C. J. Taylor, F. Whitton, A. C. Major, T. Evans,o. Pragneli, C. E. Daniell. Captain: Mr W. J, Winslade. Secretary and Treasurer: Mr D. M. Mcintosh. Auditor: Mr C. Perrv. Referees Committee: Messrs W. J. Winslade. H. Perry and A. Pickering. Match and Handicap Committee : H. Wellington, E. Perry and C. G. Munro. The election of a Range Committee was left in the hands of the Execurivo Committee.

Several members spoke in eulogistic terms of the great interest the President (Dr. Cook) had taken in the Club, a«d of the excellent manner in whidh the;: Secretary (Mr D. M. Mclntoth) had looked alter the Club's fir.arces during the past year. Mr C. Perry (Auditor) remarked that it was very pleasing "to note that not a single nutscription was outstanding.

The rules and by-law 3 of the Club were discussed.and after slight alterations, were adopted.
