HORSES FOR BRITISH ARMY.

Received April 21,11.15 a.m. LONDON, April 21. In the House of Commons, Mr Haldane, replying to Colonel H. Brodley, said that*though .there was no phortage of horses for the peace requirements, the Government were considering a scheme for the establishment of Government-owned horse ranches in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Expense and other difficulties had hitherto prevented the scheme being brought to a conclusion.
