STABBING A CONSTABLE.
By Telegraph—Press Association. DaNNEVIRKE, April 20. An elderly man named James Scrivens pleaded guilty at the court to-day of having stabbed Constable Keane on April sth, after the accused had bsen arrested on a charge of drunkenness. Scrivens was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
