VOCAL AND ORGAN REUTAL. It is expected that Knox Church will be well filled on the occasion of the vocal and organ recital to be given by Miss Amy Murphy .and Mr Purcell Webb, on Tuesday next. Yesterday's "Dominion" says that Miss Murphy will give another coilcert in Wellington on Friday next, and adda:—"Hundreds it will be remembered had to return home on the occasion of her first concert, not being able to obtain admission to the hall. Miss Murpny gave the Wellington music-lovers of her best on Monday night. If those who were disappointed on Monday will take warning, they will hasten and book their seats at once " As only one recital is announced in Masterton, those who wish to attend should procure tickets early.

THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES, The new programme to be shewn at the Foresters' Hall to-night is comprised of star pictures, among which "From the Cape to Cairo," deals with scenery along the route of the railway, considerable attention being paid to a hipopotamus hunt. which provides plenty of excitement. "Beauty Spota" is very interesting from a scenic standpoint. A "Cocoanut Plantation" depicts a Singapore selection in full beariug, witn Malays gathering alcohol from the trees. "The Lady with the Camelias," is a dramatic subject bearing on incidents contained in Alex. Duma's famous book of that name. "Cosette" is an adaptation from Victor Hugo's work. "Les Miserables." The comedy will be supplied by "The Revenge of a Thief," and "The Terror and the Terrier," "A Cure for Cowardice," k and "Mr Poorluck gets Married."
