TENUI NEWS.
From Our Own Correspondent. Tuesday. Fifteen candidates were confirmed in the Anglican Church yesterday by Bishop Wallis. The church was prettily decorated for the occasion by Miss Brading. There was a large congregation present, and Miss Sutton presided at the organ. While in Tenui, Bishop Wallis was the guest of Mr R. E. Maunsell. A meet of the Wairarapa Hunt Club ivj!l be held next Saturday afternoon at Blairlogie station, and a pleasant afternoon's sport la assured. The gale that raged here for three days has abated. The employees of Te Mai will entertain their friends at a ball on May 6th.
