METEOROLOGICAL
WEATHER FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 19. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast are as follow:—Moderate to strong westerly winds have predominated. The weather has been unsettled in both the extreme North and South, and drizzling on the West Coast of the South Island. There has been a falling tendency, though on the whole little movement of the barometer.
Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds with cool and changeable weather generally. Local conditions ara still somewhat threatening in both extremes, ana rain is probable on the West Coast and southernmost districts.
