PAHIATUA NEWS.
Own Correspondent. Thursday. The annual social in connection with the M.annatainoka Football Club was held in the Library Hall last evening. The hall was prettily decorated with flags and greenery, and the colours of the club. About sixty couples were present, and dancing was indulged in until about 1 30 a.m. A meeting is to be held in Messrs Dalgety and Company's office to-mor-row evening, at 8 p.m., for the purpose of forming a men's hockey club. The Kev. C. H. Isaacson presided ,at a meeting held in St. Peter's : Schoolroom last evening, for the purpose of forming a Boys' Club. The object of the Club is to provide games for the edification of the youth connected with the chuich.
