ACCIDENTALLY SHOT.
MR WYVERN WILLIAMS. The sad news reached Mastertun on Sunday evening that Mr Wyvern Williams, formerly a well-known resident of this town, had met his death as the result of a shooting ccident on his property at Kaipara, in the Auckland district. The deceased was the third son of Mr T. C. Williams, of Wellington, and was thirty-eight years of age. In July last he was married to Miss Evelyn' Mason, eldest daughter of Mr Maurice Mason, of Hastings. Some years ago he resided at Lansdowne, Masteton. He received his education at Wellington College and Canterbury College. Mr Hugh Williams, Mr W. H. Beetham and Mr Ralph Beetham left Masterton for Auckland yesterday morning. The funeral took place at Auckland yesterday. By Telegraph —Press Association. AUCKLAND. April 11. At the inquest on the late Mr Wyvern Williams, a verdict was returned of "Death by the accidental discharge of a rifle while in his own j hand 3."
