LONDON MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following, cablegram from their Londo.i house:—Tallow: We quote present spot values xor the following descriptions:—Good mutton. 37s 3d per cwt.; good beef, 36s 6d per cwt ; mixed, 35s per cwt..;■ market active. Sheepskins: We look for lower prices for all descriptions excepting combing merino sheepskins.
STOCK MARKST. The New Zealand Loan and Merantile Agency Co., Ltd., report at their weekly stock sale at Eketahuna yesterday, as follows: —We submitted a light catalogue in sheep, but the quality being good and the tone ol the market firm we were enabled to effect a clearance. A line of two and four-tooth ewes in lamb made 13s 3d, empty ewes in good order 7s to Bs, culls ss, good shorn lambs ranged from 7s to 7s 3d; a pen of small weaner calves made 19s.
