AMUSEMENTS

THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. This evening the usual change of programme will be presented. Some fine films of special interest are included in the new series. The art picture, "Benevento Cellini," fully pourtrays the famous sculptor and his royal model, who, not wishing to be recognised, attends the studio masked. Cellini becomes enamoured of his fair model, and his efforts to; discover her identity lead to several very dramatic incidents. "Poor Little Kiddies" is a most pathetic picture. "The Church Robbers' is a very exciting subject, including seme hairbreadth escapes from death. Some fine scenic pictures are to be shown, including "In Mysterious Africa." Among the comic pictures will be "A Cheap Entertainment," "A Clever Trick," and "Buying a Title."
