THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES
The new programme shown at the Foresters' Hall, last night, -contained several pictures that are out of the common. It is not often such classic subjects as "The Sea," and "The Faun," are shown. The first named is a wonderful piece of animated photography, in which the highest ideals in art are pourtrayed. The story of "Diana and the Faun" is too well-known to need repetition. This subject is also treated well in a finely coJoured film. The traffic in children for street selling purposes is dramatically in "The Crimp." "The Restoration" is a dramatic film in which jealousy is shown as the cause of considerable strife and anxiety to a young married couple. The humourous section of the programme is very strong, especially "Foolshead Pays a Visit," and "The Theatre Pass " This excellent series will be repeated this evening.
