AKAROA, April 3, The sculling race for the Champianship of the World between Dick Arnst, the present champion, and Geo. Whelch, challenger, was to have been rowed on Akaroa Harbour on Saturday afternoon, but had to be postponed on account of the heavy sea running. Both men had trained up to the day, and the delay mav possibly affect them. A large crowd of visitors were present, many of whom will have to return without seeing the race. The race will come off at 3 pm. (to-day) Monday, failing this at 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday. To-day (Sunday) a nor'-wester is blowing, and indications are not promising,
