THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. j Some exceptionally yfine pictures ! are promised in the change of programme to be presented at the Foresters" Hall to-night. Among the dramat'c subjects will be a film by the American Biograph Company, whose cinematograph actors have become so popular in Masterton. The picture is entitled "The Restoration," and depicts a clandestine meeting between a young lady and ] her lover, there is a quarrel, and the I lady's cousin offers to intercede, but the husband of the would-be peacemaker misconstrues her conduct. The lovers are finally reconciled, and during one of their meetings are surprised by the cousin's husband, who mistakes the young lady for his wife. His mind becomes unhinged and there is a trying time I for all until he is finally restored to his right mmd. Among the other J dramatic subjects will be "The Attempt to Smash a Bank," "The Maharajah's Caprice," and "The Crimp,'' which is an interesting film, showing tne abominable traffic in children to be trained as street sellers. The comic films are also first-class.
