Mr Thos. Horton, the well-known nurseryman, contemplates making a trip to Australia in a fortnight's time. Inquiry at the proivate hospital, Sussex street, last evening, where Messrs W. C. Buchanan, M P., and J. D. Crtiickshank, victims of the Taueru motor car accident, are at present confined, elicited the information that both patients were making excellent progress towards recovery. To-day Mr Cruickshank's righ<; shoulder will be subjected to an X-ray examination to ascertain if there is *any fracture.
